I was meant to be doing a course tomorrow, but of course, it was full up. So bang went that idea. I am planning to trail to Glasgow on Saturday, if only because I haven't been out in weeks. Been ordering stuff online as I figure it saves me a bus fair. So that's been me, sitting gaming mostly, finished SHHomecoming for a second time. I swear, the more I play that game the more I dislike it. Seemingly it's love it or hate it, and unfortunately, I hate it. After the faith I had in the new team as well. I was determined I was going to give them a chance, I'd play the game then make a judgment on it. I should've stuck with my gut feeling.
Bought The Sims 3 as well. Another case of why didn't I listen to my gut feeling. There are some bits I like, some bits I don't, a lot I don't. The personality traits were cool at first, but now it feels more like Morrowind or something like it, as if I'm assigning my Sims major skills to work on. They don't even feel like my Sims any more.
I created my favourite, figuring if playing him couldn't make me like it, nothing would. So, I made Llyr, made his wife, set them up nicely, house, kids etc etc. I've hardly touched the game since getting twins (Sims 2 I was hit with the twins all the time) and they grew into toddlers. I switched on The Sims 2, and, d'you know? I don't care about open neighbourhoods. I don't care about no loading times. And call me control freak but, I don't want my Sims going and marrying some git when I have no say in the matter. Or buggering off as I've read happening. I haven't dared play more than one family so far. I can't go back to Sims 3 after playing Sims 2, I really can't. And that...annoys me.
I should've hung off, if anything. At least till the first patch or some custom content came out. Instead, I have no self-control when it comes to games. Could've had an extra 30 quid in my pocket for a start.
I do like the look of Prototype however. I've been watching videos etc and this time am hanging off and reading reviews. Plus there's a really nice figure I like the look of as well. Despite I probably have no room, but. I don't care. It's nice. It has a nice blade on its arm, enough reason for me. Swear I come up with the daftest reasons for figures at times. Be worse if he had wings, then couldn't stop me from hunting high and low for it. If it has wings, is undead or has something nice about it, I usually have it. One of these days I'll get round to getting a photo of them all.
Right...I think I'm for a very quick game of Oblivion before I crash for the night. It's too warm for sleeping.
