Devious Journal Entry

Sun Nov 8, 2009, 10:26 AM
It's November, and as per, I'm doing NaNoWriMo, this year...without a smidgen of a plot. I'm literally writing scenes, decided to write out of order this year, without a clue of where I'm going with them or what I'm doing. And it doesn't help I now have goldfish in the room that like to stare at me when I'm not feeding them.

I started out with two fish, Dante and Vergil, outside in the water feature in the back garden. Then my dad decided to buy a bigger water feature and plonk the two of them in plus some more. So we got another four, popping them in the big water feature, only to find...they nearly died because of the fumes from it. Bought a small fish tank, put them in that, then one of them Siegfried, died. Dante and Vergil were totally fine outside, it was the inside ones I was having bother with. Wasn't till the cold weather started coming in that I wanted to get another tank for the outside fish. Now I've got a big tank, with all of the fish in it and a new addition, Gene Hunt. And some tropical fish downstairs which I haven't had a lot of luck with at all.

My parents used to breed tropical fish, had Mollies, Neon Tetras, Guppies, Angelfish, and a Betta (Siamese Fighting Fish) at one point. Got rid of them after I came along. Anyway. I bought some Mollies, Dalmations because they were nice, Platys, Neon Tetras. The Tetras didn't last the weekend, I have one left Jack the Ripper. The Platys died, one got its tail somehow stuck behind the filter then died that night. The other two couldn't take the heat when I tried to treat white spot that broke out in the tank after I bought plants. I had three Black Mollies, I now have one, Black Widow. The Dalmation Mollies are the only ones who've lasted. And one was pregnant when I bought her so she had her wee ones last week.

Besides my attempt at fishkeeping, I've not been up to much else. Trying to draw but that's not working out too well, haven't been out with the camera in ages as my dad is in DIY mode and there's no sodding buses to where I want to go and going to Newcastle next Saturday to do some Xmas shopping. That and I finally joined Facebook. Even if it is only to keep in touch with my uncle in England. After me saying for years and avoiding it I wasn't going to get one, now I have. Typical.

If nothing else, there's some good games out this month. Assassin's Creed 2 which I'll have to wait till Xmas for, as I've spent the last six months dropping clangers of hints about the Black Edition on Play.com. Just need to find something to tide me over till then. Possibly Tekken 6 as I hear it has a nice long campaign mode to it. And a few of the characters interest me already.

Now to try and get back to writing and feed the fish since they're sitting at the front of the tank again.

Thank you very much for the fave!
I really appreciate it
Umm, I'm really sorry to hear about your back. My feet used to hurt a lot due to a bad case of flat feet, but I underwent an operation this summer and now they're all better.
I hope you'll be cured too.

You're welcome :)
Good to hear you got your flat feet sorted out and it's not bothering you. In the case of my back, they can't operate. So my alternative is physiotherapy which has helped in the past.
Thanks for commenting

The Twilight sequel has a title: The Twilight Saga's New Moon. I was hoping they'd go with Twilight 2: Still Suckin'.
